先日、大幅にリニューアルされた foursquare ですが、開発者向けにもアナウンスが出てました。

ざっと読んでみたところ、とりあえずAPIを叩く際に v=YYYYMMDD をちゃんと指定していれば、今年いっぱいは問題なく使えるようです。
以下に簡単なメモを残しておきます。なお、訳は間違っている可能性があります。（ツッコミ歓迎）

もし v >= 20140806 を指定する場合は、新しい強制的なパラメータが必要になります…？
Our new m (for “mode”) parameter lets developers specify whether they want Foursquare- or Swarm-style responses by passing in m=foursquare or m=swarm.
また、m パラメータ（modeを意味するらしい）も増えており、m=foursquare or m=swarm のように、どちらのモードでレスポンスを返して欲しいか指定できるようです。

認証まわりについて。これまでと同じ方法でユーザのfoursquare、Swarmのデータを参照できるようです。
